x_empath: (THE Mask)

The disturbing disturbs.

I see we are repopulating the mansion, considering the group that went missing and assumed dead. Oh yes, people do talk however their high strung emotions speak volumes lately. I do not suppose it would have been considered priority to start a safety course for the younger generations? It seems self defense is not effective enough.

All kinds of productive, Manuel...

Manuel? What are you doing? You know better then this. I'd have thought being an empath would give you insight into what not to say in order to not hurt people.

Those that have gone missing, they're our friends. For some people they're even more. Please don't do this, okay? It hurts people. You don't want to hurt people, do you?

Um... are you on drugs or something? What are you even talking about here?

Somehow I doubt this comment is going to do much to settle the emotions of those involved. However true you feel the sentiment is, the phrasing is in poor taste, Manuel.

There are some things you just can't prepare people for! And having new people around is never a bad thing!

I think you should stick to being highly concerned about your own personal safety, and let other people worry about everyone else's, homme.

Safety course? The only safe option is sending everyone home. They can't protect us, obviously.

As has been pointed out, it wasn't the kids who were attacked. As should also have been pointed out, one of those missing is an FBI agent and I'm fairly certain whatever "safety" course we could provide wouldn't be as extensive as the training of an FBI agent. Things happen no matter how well equipped you are to deal with a situation. Morale is down because it's the holidays and people who are deeply cared about may be dead, definitely are missing and were definitely put through a lot of pain when they were attacked.

The only problem I see here is that you can't deal with the emotions you're picking up on, not that they exist in the first place.
