I see we are repopulating the mansion, considering the group that went missing and assumed dead. Oh yes, people do talk however their high strung emotions speak volumes lately. I do not suppose it would have been considered priority to start a safety course for the younger generations? It seems self defense is not effective enough.

I don't think anyone... isn't not prepared? Or at least aware that is can happen! But not all of us are X-Men. Or have powers with particularly disasterous results.

Some are weaker than others. I walk with a cane, yet I should not have to rely always on my powers. It is an advantage, but not dependable.

Well yeah, and the X-Men do everything they can to protect us, but they can't take care of everything! And there's the possibility for anyone here to train to learn how to protect themselves and others, but if they don't want to do that, I don't really think they should be forced to.

So you think the training program needs to be overhauled? What would you suggest they do?

That could be something to be discussed. Children do not fall back on training all the time when they are in dire need of it. They lean more to instinct in extreme scenarios.

I don't know, can you change someone's instincts? I don't really know much about it, but I wouldn't have thought that was possible.

Which is what I am saying. Training Children to change their instinct is a waste of time. Perhaps trying to change their way of thinking first. Not all are as strong as others. I understand they already do this, however I believe it could be a harder lesson learned.

But change it how? I mean, we all know that there's bad stuff out there, and that the liklihood of us being attacked is higher than it is for most people. But there are some things you just can't ever prepare for.
