x_empath: (THE Mask)

The disturbing disturbs.

I see we are repopulating the mansion, considering the group that went missing and assumed dead. Oh yes, people do talk however their high strung emotions speak volumes lately. I do not suppose it would have been considered priority to start a safety course for the younger generations? It seems self defense is not effective enough.

There's better ways to do that. For somebody who can read emotions, you seem pretty bad at diplomacy.

The younger students are being trained to take care of themselves. It's not something that can be rushed, or they'll miss things.

And frankly, I'd much rather see them enjoying themselves and being teenagers while they can be then walking around here like it's the end of the world and they're only moments from death.

You've lived here a long time, barring unforeseen absenses. I'd think you of all people would know that the teachers and Professor Xavier know what they're doing.

I _choose_ to point out the obvious. If there are newer students in the school, the older ones _should_ be able to look out for them. Considering most have been through trialing ordeals, I am sure that they could offer advice as well.

So let them do that. Stop undermining them by saying things like this.

If there is a flaw, it should be pointed out. Or, if you cannot understand this, then to put it in a simple way; if there is a hole in the boat and the boat is sinking, perhaps it would be wise to find that hole or find another means for survival. Somehow, I believe I only made this more complicated.

If you're in a boat, and it's sinking and people are frightened. You don't scream out 'we're all going to die'. That just makes people panic and then the boat capsizes.

Instead, you go to a few people, people you know you can trust not to panic. And you tell them 'I think we have a hole here, what can we do to patch it?'

And Manny? I know you didn't intend to be insulting, but acting like I'm to dumb to understand things just makes me want to write you off as a hopeless case. Rather then someone who sometimes just doesn't know how to say things.

There will not always _be_ someone there. Survival rests on the one attempting to survive.

This conversation has run its course for me. I am going to watch a movie. With Clarice.

It would not be the first time. Next time, I will soften my words for the rest of the mansion so they will be less offended and in more of a listening mood. Will that appease the gods?

*snort* I don't know about the Gods, Manny. I figure they appease themselves. But I'm sure it'll make a lot of people happier.

Enjoy your movie.
